As I write this, I’m struggling to process exactly what’s happened over the past week !

To give you a little back story…

I started this brand at the age of 23, whilst still living with my parents and for 1 reason only - I’d bought my first designer handbag and there was nowhere that sold care products for it.
I created the products for myself, not expecting to sell them. Then my family encouraged me to list them on eBay, and almost overnight everything changed. Within a week I had built our website, could barely keep up and here we are today…

I’m writing this as I fly from New York to Florida, my happy place and somewhere to catch our breath after the whirlwind of New York.

So let’s catch up…

My husband and I flew out to New York as we had been invited to showcase our Brand at an event during New York Fashion Week! The event would be packed with New York elite (including Vogue editors)!! & We’d be showcasing our products as well as gifting them each a bundle.

I first found out about this event mid July, and as soon as I did, I knew I wanted you (our customers & followers) to be a part of it!

We knew we’d be gifting a bundle of products, so we needed a bag right ? But not just any bag.. I wanted to elevate this experience for everyone. So I worked closely with an illustrator who hand drew our New York pattern, complete with mini HDL products, New York icons & women carrying our favourite handbags.

Next up.. I’d been developing a product for a year and we were working on a launch plan… what better time to launch than this! Introducing Pursefume™…

The day of the event came around quickly and I was feeling an equal mixture of both excitement & nerves.

And… it could not have gone better!!

As soon as I walked in to Fouquet's and saw the display of crystal Chanel bags - I knew we were in the right place.

A little piece of Parisian heaven, right in the middle of NY (another nod to our brand name which is also French)!

The stars aligned, our products were a huge hit & even the hotel staff commented on our NY Totes!

As someone who used to buy Elle every single month as a teenager, I am freaking out right now!!

This truly feels like a dream and I think I’m going to be soaking it up for a long time yet.
